The Shayne Ward drama launched for the first time in 2023, and fast proved itself to be the illegitimate love child of Death in Paradise, and The Cruise - with some Eldorado thrown in.
The cosy drama proved quite the success for Channel 5 and My5, so it didn't need a former cop like Jack Grayling to work out what would happen next - a new series.
So what do we know about series 3 of The Good Ship Murder? Here's everything Channel 5 has said so far.
Will there be a series 3 of The Good Ship Murder?
There's great news for those of you who enjoyed The Good Ship Murder series 1 and 2 in 2023 and 2025 respectively.
The cosy drama returned for a Christmas Special in 2024 and later for a full series two.
Channel 5 has now confirmed a series 3 of the crime drama filmed on board a cruise ship. The series will return after the success of the first and second outing as Shayne Ward and Catherine Tyldesley reprised their roles as Jack Brayling and Kate Woods.
Series 3 "promises more sun, sea, and sinister plots". Jack and Kate will reunite to solve murder mysteries against the backdrop of the sparkling Mediterranean.
How many episodes is series 3?
The Good Ship Murder series 3 will be eight episodes of 60 minutes each.
This follows on from series 1 and series 2, which was also eight instalments (including a Christmas special).
Who's in the cast of series 3?
Shayne Ward will return as former police detective turned cabaret singer Jack Grayling. Of course, the actor and singer recently appeared on Strictly Come Dancing 2024. Partnered with Nancy Xu, the pair got voted out in week 8.
He's probably most famous for winning The X Factor in 2005, his subsequent chart hits, and for his portrayal of Aidan Connor in Coronation Street.
Catherine Tyldesley stars as fiercely ambitious First Officer Kate Woods. Corrie fans will know that Catherine and Shayne starred opposite each other as Aidan and Eva Price. Catherine has also appeared in Viewpoint, 15 Days, Scarborough, and Trollied.
Ross Adams will also return to the cast as new character Colin Smallwood. He played Scott Drinkwell in Hollyoaks from 2015 to 2023.
Other TGSM favourites will also return including Zak Douglas as Jamil Al-Rashid, and Geoffrey Breton as Piers de Vreese.

The Good Ship Murder series 1 and 2 are currently available to watch on My5.
Series 3 is expected to dock sometime in 2026.
