The Madame Blanc Mysteries season 4: Coronation Street star Charlie Condou joins the cast
By Helen Fear | Wed Mar 26 2025The Madame Blanc Mysteries season 4 continues with another famous soap star joining the cast - this time, Coronation Street fan favourite Charlie Condou.
The second episode of the cosy crime drama - entitled Inheritance - sees ex-pat antiques dealer Jean White called to investigate when Charlie's Aunt Fifi is fatally poisoned by a mysterious figure.
Jean discovers that the deceased owned valuable antiques and collectibles, potentially making Charlie an heir. However, Fifi's complicated relationship with her half-sister Ines and her husband Alan may jeopardise that.
Here's everything you need to know about The Madame Blanc Mysteries season 4 cast who guest star in episode 2.

What happens in The Madame Blanc Mysteries season 4 episode 2, entitled Inheritance?
The Madame Blanc Mysteries continues with episode 2 (Thursday, March 27), in which Charlie's Aunt Fifi is fatally poisoned by a mysterious figure.
Charlie is cashing up at Brodeur and White, while Simone looks stunning as they prepare to catch a movie. Charlie's Aunt Fifi offers to lock up after cleaning but, while she's in the bathroom, a gloved hand quietly slips a dinner knife into the door latch and opens it...
Totally unaware, Fifi doesn’t hear the intruder enter. Meanwhile, the gloved figure swaps her detergent bottle with an identical one and takes the key from the lock, securing the door behind them.
Fifi unknowingly uses the swapped spray, which reacts with the bleach, and released toxic fumes...
When Jean arrives back at Border and White she is shocked to see it has become a crime scene.
Now, Jean must uncover who killed Fifi and why they're after her inheritance.
Charlie Condou plays Pierre in the guest cast of The Madame Blanc Mysteries
London-born Charlie Condou, 52, guest stars as Pierre in the latest episode of the Channel 5 cosy crime drama - and he's cunningly tried to disguise himself with a trendy moustache. Pierre is involved in the Fifi storyline, and subsequently becomes one of the suspects.
Although actor Charlie is best known for his role in Corrie (see more below), he's been on our screens since 1985, when he played Billy Vandam in the TV movie The Key to Rebecca.
Early roles included Peter Murray in A Sense of Guilt, Stuart Wolvis in The Wolvis Family, Jason Stubbs in Frank Stubbs, and Clive Mitchell in the unintentionally hilarious soap Eldorado.
Other notable roles include Sam in The Infinite Worlds of H.G. Wells in 2001, Jonatton Yeah? in comedy Nathan Barley, and Father Alphonse in You, Me and the Apocalypse.
In 2017, he played Simon in series 2 of Unforgotten, before going on to portray Ben Sherwood in medical drama Holby City between 2019 and 2020.
Most recently, Charlie played Perry Fleming in a 2023 episode of Midsomer Murders, and voiced Chris in the podcast Doctor Who: Classic Doctors New Monsters.

Was Charlie Condou in Coronation Street?
Like The Madame Blanc Mysteries leading lady Sally Lindsay, he was previously best known for his role in the ITV soap Coronation Street. However their paths did not cross on the cobbles.
While Sally played Shelley Unwin between 2001 and 2006, Charlie joined the cast in 2007. The actor played Marcus Dent until 2014. The popular character was a midwife who was perhaps known for his trouble love life, including relationships with Sean Tully, Maria Connor, and Todd Grimshaw.
Who else stars in episode 2 of Channel 5 cosy crime?
Marcelle Teuma, sometimes credited as Marcelle Theuma, portrays ill-fated Fifi in the second episode of the series.
She's a relative newcomer to the small screen, and her most significant role to date was playing Falzon in The Good Ship Murder series 2.
Annabelle Williams plays Ines. She describes herself as a British/French singer/actress/voiceover, and is most famous for her performances in musical theatre and opera. Can you believe she's a driving instructor, too!
Actor Simon Green joins the cast as Alan. Simon is a jobbing actor who is best known for playing Memphis Rocket in the 90s TV series Julia Jekyll and Harriet Hyde, and Jerry Jerningham in The Good Companions in 1980 - his first ever TV role.
Simon has also appearing in episodes of Mr Selfridge, Robin Hood, Crash, and EastEnders (where he played Kenny).
